Babeland's newest line of massage products are shown below. I collaborated with Purchasing team to determine scents, sizes, and look of the new Massage Candles and Massage Oil. We created a label suite to support the items' price point and sourced a new production partner who could execute the design. The revamped packaging wears black and brand-color labels with silver and mixed-varnish details. These labels were printed in PMS inks on silver stock, matte laminated, then spot varnished to generate a subtle brand glyph pattern in contrasting spot gloss.
Above: The newest iteration of Babeland massage products: 4oz Massage Oils, 3oz Massage Candle, and .75 Massage Candle. The Purchasing and Creative teams worked together to improve the labeling, packaging, and scents.
Above: The three scents of Babeland Massage Oil. Note the pump top, which should decrease leaks and be easier to use. This change (from our old click-top lid) was an improvement made in response to customer feedback.

Above: The three candle scents in 3oz and .75oz sizes.
Above:  To enhance perceived value and keep a clean look we chose to use a custom "perforated seal tape" label that wraps over the lid (rather than plastic shrink seal). The rounded end compliments the half-circle of color used on the smaller candle's labels and echos the bullet shape used by much of Babeland's brand collateral (business cards, coupon cards, signs, etc.).
Above: The 3oz candle comes with a nice, soft brush for applying the massage wax. The brush is magnetic and clicks snugly into the inside of the candle lid. The first run of these candles coincided with Babeland's 20th Anniversary and bore the anniversary mark on the brush handle.
Above:  Label assembly diagram and notes for the candle maker, who had relatively minimal experience with label application and is well-known for their meticulous finishing standards.
Above: Final comp sketch for the third generation Babeland Massage Candle with notes for production that were shared with vendors for feedback and production quotes.
